Garden Route:
This Beautiful area is situated on a narrow coastal plain that stretches eastwards from Heidelberg to the Tsitsikamma Forest and the Storms River. This is a region of great natural beauty.

Knysna has a lagoon with over 200 species of fish and to the rare sea-horse Hippocampus capensis. The striking land and coastal landscape guarantee an unforgettable experience.

Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve:
Named after the landowner Roelof Oelefse(1723), who was then known as the "Groot Vader" (Great Father)of the region. This Reserve is part of a World Heritage Site that includes precious indigenous forest, scores of unusual birds and small mammals, a ghost frog and a unique butterfly. This World Heritage Site lies approximately 22km northwest of Heidelberg the western gateway to the Garden Route.

Swartberg Pass:
A National monument and spectacular mountain pass built by Tomas Bain in 1888. This untarred road winds to a summit of 1583m above sea level with fabulous panoramic views of the sea.

Post Office Tree – Mosselbay:
The large Milkwood tree has been declared a National Monument and is generally known as the Post Office tree.

Cango Caves – Oudtshoorn:
It is described as one of the Seven Wonders of Africa. These caves are situated in the Swartberg Mountains. The 20 million year-old Cango Caves system consist of a series of hidden chambers cut deep into a thick limestone lens.

San Sebastian Bay – Witsand:
Known as the Whale Nursery of South Africa

Klein Karoo:
This scenic valley with its beautiful wild flower, ostriches and spectacular rock formations where every vista is filled with endless mountains which is only 60km wide and 250km long. This Karoo is bounded in the north with the Swartberg (black mountains) and in the south by the Langeberg and Outeniqua Mountains which isolate this area from the coastal plains. Centre of the Klein Karoo is Oudsthoorn district referred to as "Feather Capital" of South Africa known for Ostrich-farming. Swartberg is famous for its mountain passes arguably the most spectacular in Africa. Here you find mysterious valley " DIE HEL" deep and remote gorge.
